Get Rid of the Binky

Once you think they can actually live with out it... tell him/her that it is time to turn them into the hospital for all the new babies. Have him/her gather them all up, then go to a nearby hospital and have him/her hand them over to the nurse at the front desk telling her that they are for the new babies... The nurse will of course play along! My kids were SO PROUD to have done something helpful with those binkys, and it also reinforces the idea that they ARE for babies... worked with all 3 kids at around age 3.
