Baby Feeding: Weaning Baby to Cow's Milk
How do I transition baby feeding from formula or breast milk to cow's milk?
Many parents take a cold turkey approach and simply change to cow's whole milk once their infant is 12 months old. But I always opt for the 90 percent-10 percent rule, switching gradually over time. Start with 90 percent formula or breast milk in a bottle and 10 percent whole milk, and then begin to put more and more milk in the bottles over a few weeks so that your baby gets used to the taste. There is no rush in changing baby's feeding.
