Put Baby to Sleep in His Crib Without Waking Him

If your newborn throws a hissy fit the second his warm body hits cold sheets, put a heating pad in his crib for a few minutes before you make the transfer. Then swap the pad for the baby. Mr. Sensitive will never even realize you're not there anymore—not unlike that other big baby you share a bed with.
