Sometimes sunscreen just isn't enough.
Of course I slather my kids with gallons of sunscreen every time we go outside, but even when I apply (and reapply) sunscreen, I still worry that they're not fully protected. I read somewhere that a typical T-shirt has the same sun protection of 5 SPF sunscreen—so if I wouldn't send them out into the sun in 5 SPF, then I shouldn't send them out wearing regular clothes.
