Fall Recipes: Blue Granny Appetizers

  • 1 French baguette
  • Cooking spray
  • 1-8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • ½cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 2-3 Granny Smith apples

    Preheat broiler.
  • 2
    Slice baguette into ½-inch rounds, spray lightly with cooking spray and broil until lightly toasted. (Don't walk away. They'll burn quickly!)

    Place on a serving tray.

    Stir together cream cheese and blue cheese crumbles until combined.

    Slice apples into thin wedges, removing core and seeds.
  • 6
    Spread about a tablespoon of cream cheese mixture onto each baguette round, top with an apple slice and serve.
  • Toast your baguette rounds in the toaster oven if you're using the oven for something else!
