Keep Your Kid Warm in the Car

Your trusty car seat manual (which, of course, you read cover to cover) says that it'll make your kid's straps too loose if you strap him in with his coat on—but Sir Kicks a Lot always kicks off his warm blanket. Don't leave him exposed to the cold winter air. Buckle him into the car seat and then put his coat on backwards. Hey ... if there were more tips like that in the manual, you might actually read it.
