Product Recalls: McDonald's Shrek Glasses
McDonald's Shrek Glasses Recalled.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall of the Shrek Forever After 3D Collectable Drinking Glasses sold exclusively at McDonald's locations in May and June 2010.
The designs on the glasses were found to contain cadmium, a toxic metal that can cause health problems with long-term exposure. McDonald's is being abundantly cautious in asking consumers to stop using these glasses immediately. No injuries or illnesses have been reported.
