Homemade Halloween Makeup

Sick of shelling out big dough for a tiny palette of face paint every Halloween? Make your own by mixing a tablespoon-and-a-half of shortening with three tablespoons of cornstarch and the food coloring of your choice. And face it, that shortening will look far better on their faces than it would on your hips.
