Kids' Eating: Keeping Children Hydrated
How much liquid does my child need to drink every day?
It depends on your child's diet as a whole. Does your child eat drinkable yogurt, soups and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables? A school-age child is old enough to be told to drink enough that he or she has to go to the bathroom at least three times a day. Most kids will need at least four big cups of liquid a day to meet this goal.
