Fun Foods for Kids: Caterpillars

No need to wait for these sweet snacks to turn into butterflies—they're good enough to eat as is!

What You'll Need:
  • Unbaked crescent-shaped rolls
  • Green sugar sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • A grape
  • 4 blueberries
  • Uncooked spaghetti noodle
  • Breakfast cereal
To Make Caterpillars:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Break each crescent triangle into 5 parts and roll into balls.
  • Place 5 dough balls together on a pizza stone/cookie sheet.
  • Repeat for as many caterpillars as you need.
  • Bake as directed on the package.
  • Melt the butter.
  • Brush melted butter over warm crescents.
  • Sprinkle green sugar sprinkles on top of the butter.
  • Slice the grape and then cut the slices in half for the eyes.
  • Use pieces of uncooked spaghetti noodle to stick the eyes into place.
  • Use pieces of uncooked spaghetti noodle to hold the blueberries in place for the antennae.
