Make dips festive for your next kids' party (or any day!) with this simple trick. These funny dip faces work equally well with store-bought ranch dip, homemade hummus or your Uncle Cal's famous guacamole!
Piggy Dip
Fill a small bowl with the dip of your choice and poke two triangular tortilla chips into the top for ears. Select two skinny baby carrots and stick them straight down into the dip to make the pig's eyes. (If you want to be super-specific, you can add pupils with peppercorns! Just use a little dip to help them stick!) Finally, plop on a pretzel for Porky's snout!
Kitty Dip
Fill a small bowl with the dip of your choice (may we suggest something fishy?!) and poke in two Pringles or similarly shaped potato chips to make ears. Slice two radish rounds for eyes and make them cat-like by lining them down the center with a single, skinny strand of chive. Use your remaining chives to add long whiskers. Two thin slices of celery, side by side, make a perfect mouse-eating mouth. Finally, add a small sliver of green pepper for a purr-fect pussycat nose.
Clown Dip
Fill a small bowl with the dip of your choice and add two full bunches of sprouts to the top for some curly clown hair. Add a triangular tortilla chip as a hat and two slices of cucumber for eyes. Make the eyes extra appealing with cross-shaped pupils made of thinly sliced bell pepper. The cherry tomato nose is a no-brainer, and try cutting a small slice of red apple to add a goofy clown grin.
