Packed Lunch Celebrations

Since many public schools can only celebrate "seasons" rather than actual holidays, try celebrating on a school day by packing a sandwich to match! For example, dye the egg salad green for St. Patty's Day or order the bread from the local bakery in the colors of the holiday: green and red for Christmas, red, orange, yellow, and brown for Thanksgiving, etc. Always use the corresponding color for the napkins and even start the day with a colorful breakfast to go with it! Ever had green eggs and ham and milk?!
