Choosing 100 percent fruit juice is important for kids' nutrition. Looking for appropriate portion size is also important; there's a lot of sugar in juice so you want to keep the serving size small.
Finally, try to make sure that the juice you buy isn't stripped of the flavor, color and nutrients that were in the actual fruit and are really little more than sugar water. So for example, apple juice should just contain apple, grape should contain grape and so on. Be suspicious of any juice that lists fruit juice concentrate as the first ingredient.
