Family Health Insurance
As you well know, visits to the pediatrician—much like visits to your OB/GYN—are not free. You'll need to make sure your baby is covered, and, in this case, putting a diaper on baby's bottom isn't going to do it!
Here are some steps to take to make sure your health insurance is good-to-go before baby arrives:
- Add your baby to your family health insurance policy. Most health insurance companies give you a 30-day window following your baby's arrival so do it now if you haven't already.
- Find out what your coverage includes. And ask about items such as well baby check-ups, immunizations and prescription coverage.
- Switching providers? Consider what's important to you and your family when comparing family health care plans.
With a little peace of mind on the health insurance front, you'll have more worry-free time to oogle that gorgeous kid of yours!
