First Aid for Cleaning up a Kid's Bloody Cut

A tiny bleeding cut can freak out your kid (not to mention you). And a lot of blood, like from a nose bleed, can send you both into shock. Keep a red "kids first aid" washcloth in your linen closet to use specifically for wiping cuts. It might not match your decor, but it'll hide enough blood to prevent a boo-boo from becoming a panicked screaming fit.
