Kids First Aid: Cleaning Skinned Knees

Every time you clean your kid's skinned knee, he acts like a big baby (which, to be fair, he is). Unfortunately, you do have to get all that dirt out of there. Next time first aid needs arise, try cleaning his cut with a damp cloth and shaving cream instead of soap. It won't sting, and your kid will be so fascinated by the foaming action, he may even stop whimpering!
