Kids' Health: Relieve Itching

Here's a good use for your soap-on-a-rope: bug bites! Rub the bar of soap (wet or dry) over the itchy spot until the bite is just coated and you should get instant (but short-lived) relief from the itch. Keep your soap close (maybe attached to your wrist by its handy rope?) and reapply as necessary.
