Your kids' bedtime routine works great … until the sleeping part. No matter how exhausted they are, as soon as they hit the pillow, they are wide awake and begging for another story. Try giving them a pre-dinner bath. Their body temperature will drop back to normal about an hour after the bath, sending them straight to Zzzz-land. They might end up with mac 'n cheese all over their pajamas as they groggily chow down, but at least they'll be sleeping before midnight.
