My child is being bullied on the bus. What should I do?

Bullying is a huge problem in our schools and neighborhoods. It is important for parents to get involved immediately and talk with the other child's parents and school officials. Because bullying thrives on the victim's silence and shame, encourage your child t always o tell an adult—a parent, a teacher, a counselor or the principal—when he or she is the victim of bullying or even is just a witness. Always.
