Apparently Sunday is not Mothers Day after all ...
My boys made Mother's Day cards in their class at preschool and gave them to me on Thursday. But Alex apparently was confused by the fact that the card from him has HIS picture on it, so he has claimed it as his own and said, "You made it for ME, Mommy!"
Then yesterday my parents were explaining to the boys that there's a special day coming up called Mother's Day and that they can say, "Happy Mother's Day!" to Mommy ... and Alex told them, "No, it's not Happy Mother's Day. It's Happy Alex Day!" and since then he'll just randomly say to one of us, "Happy Alex Day!"

My daughter decorated a picture frame for me for mothers day! But my niece asked, Why isn't there a Daughters day? I replied, Every other day of the year is their day! LOL!!!

They made MD cards in their class at church on Sunday too. That one I actually got to keep. An older girl coaxed Alex into giving me a flower after church but then he took it back a minute later. ;) Oh well. Sunday was kind of a crazy day with DH having to work and my parents being here so my mom and I kind of celebrated with each other but DH and I agreed that the four of us will celebrate on Saturday.
And Sara, I agree; every day is children's day. ;)

LOL yep. Havent explained mothers day yet. On Sunday I will tell him its the one day of the year he's not allowed to bug me. Thats all I want for the glue to unstick for one sticking day. I want to enjoy my son and yes from a distance of more than a few inches.
