Did it seem like once your kids hit a certain age, that time suddenly seemed to go on fast-forward? I know parents in general talk a lot about how "I can't believe he's 1/2/whatever already!" but I honestly didn't feel that way the first 3 years; each year felt, well, about a year long. ;) But since 3.5 and especially since this fall started, time is going at RECORD speed. I want to slow it down! They'll be 4 in just 2 months and I'm not ready for that!

I totally agree!  I can not fathom that my children are 4 and are going to be 5 next year.  It is all just so crazy.

I wish there was a way to slow it down and make me appreciate it all more!

I agree, once kids turn about three the years seem to go by so quickly! The first few seem long and drawn out. ;)

It only gets faster. Middle school is the worst. Elementary school is long, there are always seems to be a few years left, and it's safe. My oldest is in his first year of middle school and it is just zooming past! Soon he will be in high school and that is just crazy. I love the first few years of school. They're so sweet and innocent, but they grow so much.

Time is going at record speed for me too! Its crazy to think that I had Autumn in January or this year. She is going to be 1 before it know it!!!!! In some ways I am looking forward to the next, new exciting chapter in her life learning to toddle and having a younger brother/sister but in many ways I still want her to be that tiny little baby we brought home from the hospital wrapped in her brown fluffy coat that made her look like a bear :')

My son turns one on Wednesday.  I know it seems nothing compared to the older kids here but I just can't believe it so much has happened and yet so much hasn't happened too.  I was hoping by this time my partner and I would be married and living in the same country but we're still battling visa restrictions.  I'm wicked excited for his party though and my partner will be here for that :D

Yes, it goes too fast!! When our son was born 7 weeks ago is when we realized that our daughter was not the little thing she was (or seemed to be) just a few months ago! She will be 4 next month ad it is sad- even though she is sooo excited for her birthday this year. And our oldest just turned 8 so don't even get me started on that :'(

Cherish every monment that's for sure!!

I really think that once my son hit elementary school time has started to fly and now that both of my kids are in elem school I can't get time to slow down....so hard to watch them grow up so fast and deal with "real" issues.
