FEATURED: What is on your child's Christmas list???
Curious what other kids are asking their parents for this year :)

I have a 4 y/o girl, 2.5 y/o and 1.5 y/o boys. My daughter asked for a skirt and a baby. My boys are still young enough not to ask. This year we got them a mommy/daddy gift and a sibling gift. Our daughter gets a skirt, tights and toque from us and a baby doll from the boys. The boys each got an outfit and a truck. We have lots of family and friends getting them stuff so we feel we dont need to spend a bunch of money on gifts this year.

My 9 year old son is asking for a $900.00 RC car, a WII U, and a Bey Blade Dome.
Keeping a child happy at Christmas is becoming very expensive. I think I will buy him the Bey Blade Dome.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter wanted a JCB digger toy this year. She has a small obssession with contruction site vehicles lol. She also wanted some hair clips. I guess she's easy to buy for lol. She doesn't need to ask for phones, laptops etc because she has free use of ours when she wants although she is getting a PC this Christmas (hubby has put it together, not on the net, very basic and I have bought a few educations games to go along with the literacy, numeracy, Spanish and Makaton we do on an evening), we see IT as a huge thing in our house and want her to be as confident as possible without giving in to the wants of tablets, DS or other consoles. Maybe when she's older lol.

My three year old wants a big box. I asked him what he wanted Santa to bring him for Christmas and he said loud and proud. "I want a Box! A BIG one. I've Been Good." I guess I should enjoy an easy answer like that while I can, right?

Ethan hasn't asked for anything. I don't think he understands the making a list concept yet. However, he's very excited about the idea of opening presents and enjoys the surprise and having something new and different to play with. He's currently obsessed with Madagascar movies, has gotten very into Legos and always loves any kind of car, plane, truck, spaceship, boat, etc. so we are going that route.

My daughter has narrowed down her very unreasonable list and has decided she doesn't want anything else as long as she can have an Ubooly. It is a stuffed toy that you throw an iphone or a newer ipod touch in and it has an app to download that makes the Ubooly interactive. Sort of like a less annoying, slightly educational furby that also functions as a music player. I can buy the Ubooly for 19 dollars, it would be great if we had an iphone. A relative thinks they may have an old one we can have so hopefully it will work out. It doesn't need service just a wifi update once a month for new content. I am crossing my fingers with this. It will be interesting if my 5 yo goes to school after the holidays and tells her friends she got an iphone for christmas.
She also asked for a friend for her American Girl type doll so they can have tea parties so she is getting a doll and a tea party set and some dress up outfits for the dolls.

My daughter is only 3 and if she ever asks for things, they tend to be things that don't exist (like characters out of a Dr. Seuss book or a pegasus). When we tell her that they are just pretend, she says with a great deal of confidence that her grandparents will get them for her. What she is getting is a kitchen set for her fisher price dollhouse, a few books, and a doctor kit since she has expressed an interest in "being a doctor and having her own Dr. appointments" when she grows up. Possibly she thinks that as a Dr., she will have unlimited lollipops, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth...
Our 8 month old is too little to ask for anything at all :-)

A new bike, a leap pad, three video games, a few board games, LEGOs, Star Wars action figures, stuffed animals, a Razor scooter, remote control Thomas the Train, Hulk hands, Nerf blaster, Spiderman tent, and a musical keyboard. He'll probably get most of it from us and his grandparents. He's also getting a jungle gym for the backyard.

It is a little crazy because like others have said they want everything.
I narrowed it down and got my son guitar and my daughter the Target version of the American girl Doll.
I got them Bucky the Pirate ship and some of the Jake figures as a joint gift.
My daughter is going to be getting a Little People Princess Castle from my MIL.
My son is also getting the Snap N Go dinos from my Mom

*Sigh* My sweet, generous kids become seriously greedy and full of wants this time of year. Every year I try to make it about so much more than gifts, and while they love the Bible story, the cookies, the volunteering, the movies, and crafts, they really just want to rip open boxes of toys! My oldest is starting to get it more this year, and I overheard him tell his brother, "it's better to give than to recieve." That warmed my heart.
Their lists consist of a lot of Lego products, Nerf guns, video games, and my daughter wants every doll that exists.
I don't know if other moms of boys have this problem, but it really frustrates me that it is hard to find non-violent toys for boys that aren't completely lame.

have you heard of these bey blades? thats what my son has been asking for
Yes! My son was introduced to those by some older boys at church. He loves them! It seems like they're cooler versions of spinning tops. :)
spinning tops you put in a bowl so you can see which one falls apart faster as they continuously collide. Make sure you buy one of the arena thingies (bowl) too so you son can make them "fight" otherwise they are just tops.
