So how do you get your kids ready to go back to school after break? or ready for homeschool time again?

Aside from New Year's Eve, we haven't let her stay up more than 30-60 minutes past her regular bedtime.  She does much better if we stay on our routine, or close to it. Otherwise, I think it'll be pretty easy. She'll be excited to go back once Monday rolls around.

Their preschool doesn't start back until Monday but it is rough just getting back into the swing of things.  I miss the holidays already :)

Good question. We've gotten lazy and have slept in a little bit more some days over break. School starts again on Friday and I'm hoping we'll slip right back into the routine!

We mostly had to get him excited about going back again. He really enjoyed his Christmas break. We told him he would get to see his teachers and friends again, but what he was most excited about was going back to make crafts. Pretty simple for Kindergarten, it's high school I'm not looking forward to!

Our daughter is in kindergarten and it's only part-time so it doesn't require too much transition.  We always wake up early so there won't be any issue with adjusting bed times or wake ups.  We are going to start sending out 3 year old to preschool so that should be an interesting transition for her.
