Break School Projects Into Manageable Chunks

Semester-long science projects aren't meant to be completed the night before they're due. Help your kid learn that lesson by breaking down the project into more manageable pieces for them. Several weekly deadlines seem more doable than one far-away deadline. You could probably stand to learn that lesson, too ... like when it comes to cleaning out the garage.
