Is homeschooling expensive?

Homeschooling can be as expensive or inexpensive as you want it to be. You can buy most supplies in teacher supply stores or through garage sales, homeschooling swaps, online discounts or by bartering with another family. You can either buy your books or just borrow them from the library. Nothing about homeschooling has to be expensive.

If you don't have a lot of money to spend on supplies and equipment, you just have to be creative. Before buying anything, borrow or rent it so that you can make sure you and your child(ren) like the material.
