I'm Cutting Her Off MySpace

I've had nothing but trouble with my daughter and MySpace, so I'm killing it. Starting now, her page is coming down. Permanently.
It eats up all of her time. The vocabulary she uses is awful (foul language is like a rite of passage!) and she's not being careful about her privacy, either. I learned through some careful checking that she actually gave her phone number to "someone she knows" via MySpace but has never actually met! Doesn't she know that anyone can claim to be anybody and put up any old picture? Of course she does, but that doesn't stop her!
It's not just her, either. The "friends" on her page look like a circus sideshow. MySpace fosters such a climate of sexual permissiveness, it's downright scary.
I discussed all of this with her and threatened to cut off her MySpace, but she doesn't think I'm serious. Well I am. It's over, even if she hates me for a little while. I know this is going to start World War III, but I'm doing it anyway. I should have said no to start with. The handful of people that she corresponds with who really are her friends can be IM'ed or texted. MySpace isn't worth all the trouble or the danger.
