Your kid has a big test to study for—but between her cell phone ringing and that tiny (but fascinating) piece of lint on her desk, she's not getting anything done. Toss her books in the car and head to the nearest coffee shop. She'll find it easier to focus when she's in an unfamiliar environment—and you'll have the perfect excuse to savor a caramel latté (extra whip).
