Teen Dating Overseas
Submitted by stephaniegelson
I'm a teenager from a country in Asia. In our tradition, young people can't love or like others when they're still in high school. But of course we have lots of emotion starting at the age of 13. We always talk about liking someone at school or on Internet, but we NEVER say a word in front of our parents, just because we're afraid that they won't accept it. We think liking someone is not a bad thing if you're still good at other activities. It's just like a motivation that helps us become happy to do other things. But we don't know why parents don't care what we are feeling. We're tired of trying to hide our feelings. If our parents care and accept our teenage love, then we can share our emotion and it will be very easy to get along with us. What can we do?
