Talking to Teen Girls About Birth Control

My teenage daughter recently asked my sister about birth control. How do I get her to talk to me about it?

It is always best when there is open communication between parents and teenagers. Letting your daughter know that you are available and willing to discuss these issues will hopefully help her feel comfortable talking to you.

I also hope that your sister will encourage her to speak directly to you. Since your daughter seems comfortable talking to her aunt, maybe the three of you could sit down together and talk about these issues.
