Is it normal for my teenager to complain of occasional pain in his testicles?
Testicular pain in a teenager is something that should be taken seriously. It may be nothing to worry about, but it is very important that he be examined by his doctor. This may be a groin injury from sports, a hernia or—in the most serious situation—testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is most frequently diagnosed in 15- to 24-year-olds. If that is diagnosed early, the chance for a full recovery is very high.
