Mom Parenting: I Am a Proud Mama!

Submitted by hontonokoto
I'm excited with my first baby even though I'm a single mom. When my baby was 6 months old and he could sit on my lap, I starting to read books on him while holding his hand and pointing word by word on the book. And I let him watch Dora the Explorer. I don't know if he can understand it, but it look like his having fun watching it.

Then at the age of 2, he started to memorize alphabet, numbers, shape and colors. And at the age of 3 he can count to 1,000.

I don't know what I've done ... but I am too proud for him.

When I was pregnant, I liked watching Nick Toons, mostly SpongeBob. I do not care if my baby becomes spongelike or square ... my motive is watching English language show and it's funny so I don't feel stress. ...
