Kids' Discipline: Stop Your Child From Whining

Next time your kid asks you, "Why?" or cries or whines or wants something that he can't have, respond to him with two words: "Not now," "Maybe tomorrow," "Please stop." We all have a tendency to over-talk to our kids, but it can just confuse them and seems to make things worse … at least for us! Make it short and sweet. Enough said.
