New to ParentsConnect? We're so glad you joined us! We've got a lot going on, so we've put together a cheat sheet of site features so you can dive right in and get started.
- Fill out your profile! Not only does it give everyone a chance to get to know you better, the information you add helps us hook you up with other parents like you as well as information tailored to you life and your kids. Your profile also features your own "Board" where your friends can leave you shout outs. Make regular updates to your status (at the top of the page) to let friends know what you're up to. We call it your "Me Page" and it's all about YOU!
- Send notes and gifts! As a member, you've got your own private inbox on the site, so you can send private notes to other members to tell each other how awesome you are! Plus, we've got free 'virtual gifts' you can send to other users. It's totally easy to send them and it makes you feel good, too! (You'll even get a note to your personal email address anytime you receive a note or a gift on the site.)
- Join our community! This is like the official hang out on the site and our users are funny, warm and great to chat with. Pregnant? Need advice about your kids? Love a good debate? Introduce yourself, and then join the conversations! You'll also find loads of great giveaways at our Sweepstakes Central. FREE STUFF! Sweet!
- Check out our content! In addition to expert advice, quick & easy recipes, tips, product reviews, newsletters, and funny features, we've also got loads of real stories, like you. Feeling inspired? Submit your own real story! (Or any other content, using the dropdown box at the top of each page!) We'd love to hear what's on your mind—and you'll get to feel a little bit famous, while you're at it!
