Preschool BFFs

My daughter Sofie had a hard time her first day of preschool. She was crying hysterically and having a fit! I felt terrible and didn't know what to do. I thought things would get better after the first day, but it continued the next day as well. It broke my heart.
Luckily, on the third day, I ran into the mom of a boy in my older son's grade. She was bringing in her daughter Emma. She said, "Sofie, why don't you and Emma go in together." After some coaxing, Sofie and Emma walked into their class together. And the best part is, a few years later, they are still the best of friends!
