Mommy, Wow! I'm a Big Kid Now!

It's amazing how fast our children grow. I work overnights and don't have my son most of the time because of this, I feel like I miss a LOT of time, which I do.
I was laying on the couch sleeping 'cause I worked last night (my fiancé was home and awake). I had told my son before I fell asleep that if he needed a nap, I would have to get up and put a pull-up on him.
A few hours later, he came into the living room, shook me, woke me up and when I groaned, he grabbed my hand and put it towards his boy parts, I rolled over and looked at him, about to ask why on earth he did that ... and he smiled and said, "Mommy, I got my pull-up on. I didn't want to wake you to ask for help. You were so pretty when you were sleeping."
It made me smile, because, although I showered, my hair was EVERYWHERE, and I had no makeup on. I looked like a total mess. It just made me feel so good, he didn't want to wake me, AND he put his pull-up on by himself!! Wow ... he's growing up so fast. ...
