Grilled Sweet Balsamic Glazed Flank Steak

A great grilled sweet, pungent, spicy steak—always good eats but especially good for summer grilling!
- 1 tbsp bottled minced garlic
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 lb flank steak
In a large resealable plastic bag, add all the ingredients except for the beef, shaking well to mix.
Add the flank steak, turning to coat with the marinade; set aside.
Coat the grill rack with cooking spray, and prepare the grill to medium-high heat.
Snip the corner of the plastic bag with scissors and drain the marinade into a small saucepan; set aside.
Place the steak on the prepared grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before thinly slicing diagonally across the grain. Transfer to serving platter.
Meanwhile, bring the reserved marinade to a boil over medium-high heat and continue boiling 3 minutes, or until thickened.
Drizzle glaze evenly over sliced steak.
