My 2-Year-Old Won't Sleep in His Own Bed!

So I used to have the perfect little sleeper ... and then one day he seemed to just disappear!!!
It seemed to start when he was hitting the age of 2. He wanted to stay up with Mom and Dad or be rocked to sleep. And if we did manage to get him asleep, he would wake up in the middle of the night and hop into our bed, sometimes without us even realizing it!!!!
I used to blame it on the grandparents because from the time that he was a baby, they let him sleep in the bed with them and still do to this day. And every time I thought I had him corrected, he would spend the week at the grandparents' and come back ruined!!!! So I gave up!! I gave in to him not going to bed at a regular time and kicking him out of our bed because I felt that even if I put all this work into it, when I take him to the grandparents' house again, it's all over!!!
And it's not like I haven't asked them to keep him on a schedule or let him sleep in his own bed. I think that they are just doing the grandparent thing—after all, this is their first and only grandchild. I just wanna know how I can get through this—so any one PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
