Cubed Steak With Mushroom Sauce
Submitted by QueenGoodEats_PC

A delicious recipe that even your picky eaters will love! Serve with carrots or peas.
- 1 pkg noodles (I find egg work best, but whatever you have on hand)
- 1 can condensed mushroom soup
- ½ envelope onion soup mix
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp oil
- ¼ cup flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cubed steaks
Boil pasta until it reaches the desired tenderness and drain.
In a small bowl, combine soup concentrate, onion soup mix and water. Stir until smooth and set aside.
Heat a saucepan over high heat, add oil.
In a pie plate, mix together the flour, salt and pepper. Lightly flour the steaks on both sides with the mixture. Shake off the extra flour.
Brown the steaks on both sides in the sauce pan. Just brown, don't cook them through. When done, transfer to a plate and set aside.
Add the remaining flour mixture to the sauce pan and mix with the remaining oil. Slowly pour in the soup mixture, whisking the entire time, until smooth.
Add the steaks back into the pan and allow to simmer over medium heat until the sauce is thickened.
Serve over the pasta. Ladle on extra sauce for the noodles.

- You can always add extra mushrooms or onions to this dish as well.
