Christmas Ideas: Service Projects for Kids

Toys for Tots is a great way to do something tangible for others. At the Network for Good holiday party, we "give" each other the toys we think our co-workers played with as kids (this can be quite funny) and then donate the gifts to Toys for Tots. There are thousands of other charities looking for help this holiday; just go to Network For Good and search by your zip code and the types of causes that your kids want to help. Remember, doing good should be an extension of doing what you love. Because of the Internet, it's never been easier to find the perfect fit between a charity in need, a cause you love, and a skill or resource you have. Giving back to those in need is one of the best Christmas ideas you can teach your kids!
