Celebrate New Year's With Young Kids

Instead of keeping the little ones up for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve—and then dealing with grouchy children on New Year's Day—start your family celebration well before midnight (and before bedtime). Break out the sparkling cider, sing "Auld Lang Syne" and drop a homemade New Year's Ball and do it up right—even if it is only 8:30 PM.
