Alaina Huffman: "Fixer" Parenting Style

I do pretty much everything around the house. My husband tries, but he's really not too interested in "fixing" things—and he doesn't have a problem with things being "not-fixed," so he leaves that to me. On the other hand, I can't stand things undone in my house, so it sort of works out for both of us!
I got all of my fixer qualities from my dad, so it must be in my genes. At least one of my kids will probably end up being a fixer, too. Hanna is very much like me so of the two of them, I think she'll end up being the fixer.
And if she's anything like me, she won't really have a choice! I'm a fixer by nature and I've always been that way.
