Jodie Sweetin: "Cooperator" Parenting Style

I am definitely a cooperator. I don't like to get into it with anyone. That's probably a good thing because my husband, Cody, is very opinionated! He always stands up for himself and he doesn't let anyone push him over. He's great at going after what he wants. I wish I were like that sometimes.
I'd love for our daughter, Zoie, to be a combination of the two of us when she grows up: a little bit of "cooperator" from me and a little bit of "persuader/fixer" from my husband. I want her to know when to back down from an argument or a situation, but I also want her to be comfortable with standing up for herself if she's not OK with someone or something.
That being said, she already has a personality of her own and I can see that she's probably going to be just like her dad! She's only 5 months old, but if she doesn't want something, it's not happening ... and she gets pretty frustrated pretty easily.
For instance, she's been trying to sit up on her own when she's on the changing table and she makes all these faces and gets so mad that she can't do it! Or when she wants to hold the bottle all by herself, sometimes she literally tries to peel my fingers away so she can hold it. I love that she's so determined, but I'm sure I'm gonna pay for it when she's a teenager!
Besides being mom to Zoie, you might also know Jodie as Stephanie Tanner on Full House.
