Tracey Gold's Kids Sleeping Tip

When my kids went from sharing a room to having their own rooms, my 9-year-old, Bailey, became afraid of sleeping. He was missing the comfort of sharing a room with his brother. To get him used to this new situation, we helped him create a totally new space for himself: new desk, new decorations, new sheets, etc. That way it was no longer the old room he used to share with his brother—it was his new room that he got to decorate himself. Knowing that he was in control of his new space made him feel really comfortable and safe sleeping.
