Take Care of Your Hot Spots

Every room has a "hot spot" that changes the feel of the whole room. If the hot spot is dirty or cluttered, the whole room looks messy. Likewise, if it's clean, the room looks great. In the living room, it's the coffee table; in the kitchen, it's the sink; bedroom, it's the bed; dining room, it's the table. Every flat surface in our home, including the floor, is a hot spot. If you want a clean house, find the hot spot in every room and keep it in order. You have to be vigilant because when clutter accumulates, we become immune to it. If you keep your hot spots clean, it will change the whole feel of your house!

the bed in our bedroom. The comforter is 12 years old, and the carpeting used to be light grey but thanks to our dog, it's now a light brown - yuk!
