I clean every moment I can -- usually multitasking -- clean the kitchen while on phone, clean the bathroom while giving the kids a bath, etc.

Any time I`m on the phone I put on a headset and use the time to fold laundry, empty the dishwasher, or straighten.

I throw in a load of laundry, put spray some Scrubbing Bubbles in the toilet and in the sink, then wash the dishes. By the time I'm done washing the dishes, laundry can be thrown in the dryer, and I can tackle the toilets and sinks.

I set stuff that needs to be taken upstairs on the ledge near the stairs.  Anyone going up needs to take 1 or 2 things with them and put it away.  Saves from running up and down multiple times.

I set out everything for the morning rush the night before. Clothes, coats, hats, gloves, backpacks and lots of postits for reminding what I need to do that day!

while waiting for me tea, I clean up the kitchen sink and put away any dishes. Same in the evening if I am indulging in hot chocolate.  I sort my clothes as I go, darks in one bin, delicates in another, and as soon as there is enough for a load, I wash.

There is no way I would stay in the bathroom and read after spraying my cleaners.  spray, run out to start load of wash or clean up kitchen, and then enter after spray is no longer wafting thru the air.
