Get in a Bed-Making Habit
Make your bed as soon as your feet hit the floor! Making the bed makes the whole room look clean. So the minute you hop out of bed, turn around and make it! You can also teach your kids to make their own beds before they even get up in the morning. To start, buy a bedspread that is easy to make up, like a duvet or quilt, so it looks nice and doesn't need a lot of mommy care. In the morning, have your kids snuggle up in the bed and make snow angels under the covers to spread out the sheets and blankets. Then have them pull the covers to their chinny-chin-chins, straighten everything out and just slide out the side. Then all you have to do is fluff the pillows and the bed is made! It works, it's fun and kids love it!

I don't mess the bed up much so when I crawl out it pretty much is made already.
I am a BIG fan of having a made bed, especially before climbing back into it at night. My almost-7-year-old son also has a great rountine of making his bed in the morning, without even having to be asked! :)
No, but I flip the comforter so that it looks made. (Not perfectly, though.)
Nope. My feet hit the floor first and I forget to go back and do it after hubby gets up. Maybe it should become his job
Had to do that growing up from the time I started school. Now sometimes I do and sometimes I do not, but always if there is company
no - not until I started reading FlyLady this week - now I'm inspired! ;)
I am insane about making my bed every morning! I feel like i cant leave the house until all beds are made! Drives me nutz to leave them messy!!Is my cleaning OCD showing...?!!
I do this automatically as soon as I get out of bed in the morning!!! Seeing your "made bed" every time you walk into your room just makes you feel good!!!!
