Saving Money: Cyber Monday Deals
2. Shop Socially Follow your favorite stores on Twitter and "like" them on Facebook. Many stores now offer exclusive deals and coupon codes to their social media fans. For instance, Overstock.com has a whole Cyber Monday Facebook event planned for their faithful followers, while the Children's Place has tweeted coupon-code savings from 15 to 25 percent off your entire purchase!
3. Sign Up for Exclusive Emails Check your favorite stores for email-only deals and sign up for them! Sites like Target are offering sneak peeks at their upcoming holiday sales and exclusive email savings just for signing up!
4. Coupons, Coupons, Coupons We know we don't have to tell you, but if you're one of the eight remaining parents out there who isn't regularly using coupon code sites, start now! Before you make any online purchase, do a quick search for coupon codes for the site you're shopping. Sites like Retail Me Not, Coupon Cabin and Deal Locker keep frequently updated lists of current coupons for most major and even some less-major shopping sites.
5. Scoop Up Free Shipping Many, MANY sites will be offering free shipping this Cyber Monday—and lots will continue the savings through the holiday shopping season, too. Before you click to submit your order, keep an eye out for free shipping deals with a coupon code or with a minimum purchase. Don't have enough in your cart to snag the free shipping? Pair up with a friend or neighbor and combine your purchases so you both save. Friends don't let friends pay for shipping!
