Next time your in-laws complain that your daughter doesn't write her Nana and Gramps enough, suggest that they give your kid a specific request, like, "We want to hear about your Sunday soccer games." Now, your daughter has a weekly reminder/conversation-starter/excuse to email her grandparents—and you won't have to nag her (as much).
