As if August isn't stressful enough with back-to-school issues, you're thinking of planning a vacation in the last two weeks. Forget about it, sister. Hotels and airlines jack up prices at the end of August, so it's not worth the stress or money. Plan that trip for after Labor Day and spend August making eight trips to Target for school supplies.
