I made these for the 4th of July and my diabetic uncle took an extra dose of medicine just so he could eat another one! These are GOOD! Party size recipe, can be cut in half.

  • 8 (1-oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup semi sweet mini morsels (you can chops the bigger ones up if you can't get minis)
  • 1 (6-oz) pkg of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1
Get a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Spray with cooking spray, line with parchment paper (or wax paper), and spray again with cooking spray.
  • 2
    Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 3
Place 2 sticks of butter and unsweetened chocolate in microwave safe bowl. Nuke for 15 second intervals, stirring in between, until everything is melted.
  • 4
In a separate bowl, mix together 3 cups sugar and 6 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp salt. Beat until smooth.
  • 5
Add flour a little at a time, beating between each addition. Add in chocolate mini morsels.
  • 6
Pour chocolate batter into prepared pan.
  • 7
In a clean bowl add cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 1 egg. Beat till very smooth!
  • 8
Spoon dollops of cream cheese mixture on top of chocolate mixture. Take a knife and carefully marble the cream through the chocolate.
  • 9
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set. Don't not over-bake. It just has to stop jiggling in the center.
  • 10
Allow to cool completely before cutting.
  • 11
Store in the fridge inside an air-tight container! They'll never last this long, but they should be good for about 2 weeks.
  • The paper should make it easy to get these things out. For easy cutting, lift them out of the pan using the paper and cut them on the countertop.
